From the Archives

When I was growing up, my grandmother was often in the hospital from fourth grade on, or so. I remember one year being really sick over Thanksgiving, and laying in my grandmother's bed while she was away.

I don't remember what year that was. Interestingly, though, I often do not feel great around Thanksgiving. I have wondered on more than one occasion if there is something lingering about her and that time.

You may notice the comment that I had hoped she would be home by Thanksgiving on this card.

I am finding so many things as I pack. So many things that I have glossed over over the years I am now looking at. I need to get rid of so much. I am quite proud of how much I am managing to do that. I just hope it will be enough.

I guess time will tell.
