Making the most of what ya got...

I saw this story of a woman who has a rare
blood fungus.  They show pictures of her
happy and healthy, and the video shows her
in what are likely to be her final hours.

It is a sweet story about the man who loves
her.  And I think it is also a story for anyone
who wants to pay attention.

Life as we know
it is not forever.

And it can change
in a heartbeat.

I know I don't look at things the same way
as I used to, but at the same time my humanity
wants to pretend it is just "business as usual."

In the video she talks about not understanding
why what is happening is, and she also talks
about how this must be the "better plan" of
God.  While I can't go where she is in that
regard, we all need whatever we need to get
through.  If that is her belief and her understanding,
and it comforts her, then there can be nothing
more powerful in a moment like that.

husband, and all of those affected by the situation.
