It was a wonder to behold. The streets were full with many feet of snow. I don't know how things finally got moving again vehicle-wise. But it was incredible. A friend even "dragged" me out into it the first night. I was glad she did.

Blizzard of 95
I think it was 95. I should probably check at some point. I lived in Queens and worked in Manhattan. Everything was shut down for a couple of days. I worked for someone who insisted that everyone get into work. Because I did, everyone else had to, or not get paid. He had NO idea how bad things were outside of Manhattan or the Jersey Turnpike. The city was a mess.
It was a wonder to behold. The streets were full with many feet of snow. I don't know how things finally got moving again vehicle-wise. But it was incredible. A friend even "dragged" me out into it the first night. I was glad she did.
