Don't we look cool in our shades?

I had a friend I used to travel with. One of our trips was to Bermuda. She worked for a hotel chain and was able to get us a great deal on a place to stay. We were treated so well. It was such an awesome trip. There was one night we were sitting by the pool. It was a gorgeous night. The land was so flat you could see out into the ocean for miles. In the distance was lightning. I felt so good there, and I wanted to remember that moment. I was determined to try. I closed my eyes and I absorbed as much as I could. To this day when I need to think of a calm and soothing place, it is my Go To spot.
