In Discomfort

For a while now, I have been feeling some discomfort
at the base of my spine, at the top of my butt. It is hard
to sit on certain surfaces for any length of time.

It doesn't bother me all of the time, and it seems to be
in relation to certain movements when sitting or standing
up. When I mentioned it to the oncologist, she asked if
I had seen the surgeon.

The last time I saw the surgeon it was to have my port
put in. But there was nothing else said or done at the time.

For a while after my surgery I felt stuff in that area, but
it seemed to be getting better. Now, not so much. I will
be making an appointment to see the surgeon the next
time I have a check up which will be in March.

Hopefully it is no big deal.

But, as you might guess, I have a little voice in the back
of my head that wonders what's up. My blood work was
good last time, so this is probably something else. I just
hope it doesn't mean any more surgery or anything else,
more significant.

But I hate this feeling in a big way.
